Stan Schmidt graduated in May 1972 from Benedictine College in Atchison, Kansas with a degree in economics. He started his business career with Montgomery Ward in the Management Training Program. From January 1976 to June 1980, he worked as a staff accountant for Fox and Company, one of the largest accounting firms in the country at that time. Starting in July 1980 to January 1990 Stan worked for a family owned business as an Accounting Department Manager and advanced to Chief Financial Officer. Today he is the President and owner of Schmidt Associates, PC and has been since its inception in January 1990.
